- 3 pears, peeled, cored and diced
- ¼ cup water
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 30 minutes.
- Mash slightly with a potato masher. Set aside to cool before putting into jars to refrigerate.
