It has been a while, dear readers, and although I’ve missed you tons I promise that I have a great excuse for my recent absence from the blog. I’ve taken a bit of a break from cooking and writing because I’ve been busy growing something

One of the best things about living in Switzerland is the proximity to all sorts of incredible destinations — from big cities like Paris and Milan to mountain resorts and lakes. Being so close to the Swiss Alps gives us the opportunity to spend several weekends

We’re big salad eaters; as if you haven’t realized yet judging by the dozens of salad recipes on the blog! I have a salad every day for lunch, sometimes for dinner as well, so I’m always experimenting with different grains and produce to not get bored. Salads don’t always have to be the same old lettuce with the same old cucumbers and tomatoes. Add some lentils, quinoa, beans, burgul or any other grain or legume and you’ll have a whole new salad ready to be enjoyed.
